Commandos, Behind Enemy Lines 1.1

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines is a real-time tactics game developed by Pyro Studios and set during World War II. You lead a small, elite squad of specialized operatives on high-stakes missions deep in enemy territory, where stealth, timing, and careful planning matter far more than brute force. Viewed from an isometric perspective, each mission plays like a tightly crafted puzzle: study enemy patrols and lines of sight, coordinate your team’s unique abilities, and execute precise, synchronized moves to infiltrate, sabotage, rescue, and escape.

Key features:

• Squad-based stealth tactics: Control six distinct commandos—such as the Green Beret, Sniper, Marine, Sapper, Driver, and Spy—each with unique tools and skills.
• Challenging, handcrafted missions: Infiltrate bases, cross frozen outposts, and raid desert installations across Europe and North Africa.
• Emphasis on planning and precision: Outsmart alert guards, manipulate patrol routes, and exploit environmental advantages.
• Multiple solutions: Combine disguises, distractions, stealth eliminations, vehicles, boats, and explosives to achieve objectives your way.
• Classic, atmospheric presentation: Detailed isometric visuals and period-authentic equipment create a tense, immersive battlefield.

Renowned for its difficulty and rewarding depth, Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines helped define the real-time tactics genre and remains a standout for players who enjoy methodical, high-stakes strategy.
